IMPORTANT NOTE:
When choosing your length be sure to figure it from the ends of the beads not the end of the attaching clasp. That is how I measure to size.
My eyeglass holders/chains come standard with these ends that fit most ALL eyeglass frames:
PLEASE MAKE SURE THESE ENDS WILL FIT YOUR GLASSES - IF YOU NEED ADJUSTABLE ENDS (BECAUSE YOUR FRAMES ARE THIN OR EXTRA WIDE) MAKE SURE YOU DROP ME A NOTE UPON PURCHASE TO USE ADJUSTABLE ENDS.
Some of the beaded eyeglass holders look as though they would be highly fragile and break easily but they are strung on strong, kink resistant beading wire and will withstand normal wear and tear very well! AND, as an added accessory idea, for $2, I will add a gorgeous pewter "S" clasp so that you can convert this into a necklace by draping it around your neck a couple times, or letting it hang long. Also, if you would rather have a different end shown below instead of the eyeglass leads, just let me know (an email is fine) and I will substitute that free of charge. If you have any questions or if there is something in particular you are interested in finding, just email me and we can work on a custom holder just for you! Thanks!

This one is designed featuring some beautiful large mosaic Turquoise ovals, various sterling silver (or vermeil gold) beads and showcasing Swarovski's Emerald AB 2X faceted bicone crystals which don't show up real well here but are absolutely to die for in person and bring out the colors of the turquoise perfectly. I've also used Swarovski's White Opal Starshine faceted bicones to add just a touch of silver. Update: I now have the eyeglass chain completed
since it has been very popular! The first photo is the actual chain. The 2nd is
still the necklace that inspired this piece and I've left the "story" below for
your amusement. Of course the chain will not have 52 beads since it would be
extremely long and unusable. Ok - it doesn't look like an eyeglass chain! You're right - BUT I was so excited about this one and the holidays I HAD to list it here even before making an actual eyeglass chain! Yours of course will be an eyeglass chain! I was told at the last minute that I needed to make a birthday gift for my daughter in law and I had 2 hours to do it. Immediately when I began to think of a color scheme the thought of red and black came to mind - perhaps it's the season! At any rate, this is what I came up with. Since it is her 52nd birthday I was supposed to design something with 52 beads. What a challenge! This necklace has exactly 52 decorative (red and black) beads not counting the components and spacer beads. It is impossible to really describe - it is gorgeous! Please keep in mind I have no problem putting it together in gold - however, the large triangle shape beads only come with the silver edging - would still look beautiful with gold everywhere else! |
