This page is devoted to my beaded bracelets and beaded anklets and, sometimes, sets which include earrings, and/or necklaces to match. A gorgeous beaded ankle bracelet always gets attention, whether it's designed with Swarovski crystals, soothing gemstones or just awesome unusual beads! Keep in mind all gemstones are different so there will always be a variation from the picture shown - not a lot, but that is what makes your creation truly unique. As always, custom sizing is available. Any of the beaded anklets or bracelets can be custom sized to the opposite, i.e. an ankle bracelet to a bracelet and vice versa. I discovered some fabulous genuine Chinese green jade heishi beads and managed to obtain a fair number of them. In this creation I paired them with gorgeous amethyst to bring out the color in both! For 5,000 years Imperial China used the word "jade" as something precious. Because jade is said to have all the attributes most valued in society. A symbol of purity and serenity, it is delicate, but will not break - is beautiful, but not impermanent, it can be flawed with lines, but still pleasing. It is believed to radiate divine unconditional love and balance the emotions. Held in the hand it can improve judgment - ancient silk traders often held jade while bartering. A small piece of jade worn around the neck was said to dispel illness. Chinese jade first arrived in the West during the sixteenth century, brought from Canton by the Portuguese. Today jade continues to be a symbol of love, virtue, and status. With Chinese carvings reaching the highest value. The best jade has a waxy, pearly appearance. Feeling cool and so smooth, it seems soft to the touch. Yet hard enough that pressure from a sharp knife will not leave a mark. |

several samples - this is just one. I've use the turquoise of course
but added genuine tiger eye and some really dark, gorgeous bronzite. Very classy and less chunky for
