BEAD WIZARDRY DESIGNS The growing acceptance of ALTERNATIVE HEALTH CARE has created a wave of enthusiasm for MAGNETIC THERAPY. The Greeks and Egyptians first recorded the therapeutic benefits of permanent magnets four thousand years ago. A Chinese text dating to 2000 BC describes how a magnet applied to an acupuncture point had beneficial results. But magnets are enjoying a resurgence in popularity as part of a general movement toward ALTERNATIVE therapies or unconventional treatments. Many ATHLETES, including many PROFESSIONAL GOLFERS, have reported they feel better when wearing a magnetic bracelet around their wrist. MAGNETIC FIELDS are all around us, being generated by natural factors such as Earth and weather, and electrical devices like computers, TV's, and microwave technology. These fields decrease our pH level and reduce the effectiveness of our immune system. TWO TYPES OF MAGNETS include BIOPOLAR magnets which have repeatable north/south polarity on the same side of the magnet and UNIPOLAR magnets, a term used to distinguish the other category of magnets that are "unidirectionally" applied to the body. The two magnetic poles are located on different sides of the magnet, the south pole on one side and the north pole on the other side, thus exploiting the basic laws of physics and assuring a greater depth of penetration. My magnets are "unipolar", thus providing deep penetration and effectiveness. It is this penetration that stimulates the effect you will feel. Magnetic energy has a calming, beneficial effect that stimulates the body to increase the flow of blood and oxygen. Magnets have alleviated temporary and CHRONIC PAIN and even arrested or killed CANCER cells in animals according to experts in the biomagnetic field. Magnets are hardly new to the medical field. Magnets have been an effective means for diagnosing illness and disease through techniques such as magnetic resonance imaging [MRI]. Other claims indicate that magnets can help in CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME, STRESS, BACTERIAL INFECTION, WEIGHT LOSS and even to right something called MAGNETIC FIELD DEFICIENCY SYNDROME. |
